Independence Day

Samprati celebrated the 80th Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit on our campus. The celebration began with the hoisting of the National Flag, followed by cultural performances presented separately by each class. Our little learners had been joyfully rehearsing for nearly two weeks, and their confidence made their performances truly special. To commemorate 150 years of “Vande Mataram,” the children also participated in a special presentation, waving their hands.

Field Trip 1 of Enthusiastic Harvesters (3-4 years) Batch

Our first field trip was to Kalaiselvi Karmalaya Social Welfare Society, thoughtfully planned in alignment with our monthly theme, “Caring,” and as a prelude to our Mother Teresa Day celebration. With generous contributions from parents, the children carried essential items such as diapers, plates, and formula milk to share with the residents.

They interacted with children of their own age, met the elders, and joyfully shared rhymes and stories with them. More importantly, the visit gave them an opportunity to experience the joy of giving and understand kindness through action.

Parents were introduced to our special “Magic Box” concept, an experiential approach to teach alphabets.

Kamaraj Birthday

We introduced them to the visionary leader who played a significant role in making education accessible to children across Tamil Nadu. The children came dressed in white and white, adding a sense of simplicity and assembled for a class photograph. Through an age-appropriate story and classroom conversation, they were taught about his contribution towards free meals scheme to increase enrolment in schools.

Van Mahotsav

We celebrated Van Mahotsav to inculcate the value of 'Care for Nature'. A special circle time was conducted under the trees, to discuss about the importance of trees. Children went on a guided nature walk, hugged trees, and even tasted bitter gourds growing in our garden.

The day also included leaf-printing activities, a nature-themed photo booth, and, for our younger learners, an engaging animal-washing activity and plant watering activity.
